Hi bloggers! Today I will write about YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/), a website that, although it does not have exclusive psychology content, is, in my opinion, one of the most useful for the study of this major and has helped me a lot in my first year at university. YouTube is a website created in 2005 in the United States where anyone can share vides, music videos, news, movies, etc. There are videos on many different topics, but I mainly use it to watch videos about psychology. It is a platform that I use approximately three times a week for academic purposes. It helps me a lot to use it when studying since there are very good videos on the topics we cover in class. In addition, there are psychologists in various areas who upload teaching videos and allow me to have another perspective apart from what they teach me at the university. One of my favourite photos

Hello bloggers! Today I will tell you about this photograph that is one of my favorites and means a lot to me. The man next to me in the photograph is my grandfather, his name is Carlos, he is 82 years old and for as long as I can remember we have been very close mainly because we are both passionate about football. This photo was taken by my dad on December 4, 2021. It was in Lampa, at a football match to which they both accompanied me. I remember that day very fondly as we won the tournament that was being played, but, in addition, and the most important thing, is that my grandfather after a long time was able to accompany me and celebrate with me. Both in sport and in other areas of my life, my family is the most important thing and I really enjoy sharing beautiful and important moments like that with them. My favourite piece of technology

Hello everyone! The only piece of technology I used until I was approximately 6 years old was television, since although they had smartphones and computers, I did not have access to them. I had my own smartphone when I was approximately 10 years old but at that time they were not as technologically advanced as today and it did not allow me to do many things, I only played games and received calls. With technological advances, the smartphone became my favourite piece of technology. It allows me to take photographs and save important and beautiful moments for me, I can also communicate with the people I love even if they are very far from me and every day it has more functions that make my life easier. For example, the flashlight, the compass, allows me to locate myself and move around the city. Why did I choose to study Psychology?

Hi bloggers!  I hope you are very well. Today I will tell you a little about the career I am studying and how I got there.  The first career that I remember being interested in was Veterinary Medicine since I have always loved animals and being able to help them in difficult times was something I longed for. Then, something that began to interest me a lot was the ocean, and this led me to want to study Marine Biology. Knowing what is in those places that humans have not been able to reach is fascinating but also terrifying to me.  Sometime later, I started playing many sports and it became something that I am very passionate about to this day. In addition, I began to participate in activities such as student centers, sports clubs and I realized that I was very interested in social relationships. Who am i?

Hello everyone! My name is Maura Urria Pablaza and today I will write and tell you a little about who I am. I am eighteen years old and on November 5th I will be nineteen. I am Chilean and all my life I have lived in Santiago, Chile. Right now I am in my first year of psychology at Universidad de Chile and I really like it. I would like to specialize and continue learning about sports psychology because I really like sports, especially soccer and volleyball.   My favorite animal is the dog and I have one as a pet. His name is Oso and he is seven years old. I am a very sociable person and what I like to do most in my free time is go out with my friends, my boyfriend or my family.
